On Wednesday, November 17, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. EST, the Committee on Natural Resources will meet to consider the following bills:

  • H.R. 404 (Rep. Lieu), To improve the management of driftnet fishing. Driftnet Modernization and Bycatch Reduction Act of 2021. Amendments to H.R. 404 must be drafted to the amendment in the nature of a substitute, attached to this notice. 
  • H.R. 667 (Rep. Ruiz), To authorize the Secretary of Health and Human Services, acting through the Director of the Indian Health Service, to acquire private land to facilitate access to the Desert Sage Youth Wellness Center in Hemet, California, and for other purposes. Desert Sage Youth Wellness Center Access Improvement Act.
  • H.R. 1931 (Rep. Matsui), To provide competitive grants for the promotion of Japanese American confinement education as a means to understand the importance of democratic principles, use and abuse of power, and to raise awareness about the importance of cultural tolerance toward Japanese Americans, and for other purposes. Japanese American Confinement Education Act.
  • H.R. 2026 (Rep. Jeffries), To assist in the conservation of highly endangered amphibian species in foreign countries, and for other purposes. Global Amphibian Protection Act of 2021. Amendments to H.R. 2026 must be drafted to the amendment in the nature of a substitute, attached to this notice. 
  • H.R. 2793 (Rep. Sean Patrick Maloney), To reauthorize the Highlands Conservation Act, to authorize States to use funds from that Act for administrative purposes, and for other purposes. Highlands Conservation Reauthorization Act of 2021.
  • H.R. 3128 (Rep. Young), To establish the American Fisheries Advisory Committee to assist in the awarding of fisheries research and development grants, and for other purposes. American Fisheries Advisory Committee Act of 2021.
  • H.R. 3197 (Rep. Mike Johnson), To direct the Secretary of the Interior to convey to the City of Eunice, Louisiana, certain Federal land in Louisiana, and for other purposes. Save the Liberty Theatre Act of 2021.
  • H.R. 3326 (Rep. Mike Levin), To promote the development of renewable energy on public lands, and for other purposes. Public Land Renewable Energy Development Act of 2021.
  • H.R. 3531 (Rep. Norton), To authorize the Women Who Worked on the Home Front Foundation to establish a commemorative work in the District of Columbia and its environs, and for other purposes. Women Who Worked on the Home Front World War II Memorial Act.
  • H.R. 3600 (Rep. LaHood), To amend the National Trails System Act to designate the Route 66 National Historic Trail, and for other purposes. Route 66 National Historic Trail Designation Act.
  • H.R. 4494 (Rep. Trone), To authorize the Secretary of the Interior to acquire land in Frederick County, Maryland, for the Historic Preservation Training Center of the National Park Service, and for other purposes. Frederick Jobs and Historic Preservation Training Center Land Acquisition Act.
  • H.R. 4648 (Rep. Mike Johnson), To modify the boundary of the Cane River Creole National Historical Park in the State of Louisiana, and for other purposes. Cane River Creole National Historical Park Boundary Modification Act.
  • H.R. 4706 (Rep. Tony Gonzales), To establish the Blackwell School National Historic Site in Marfa, Texas, and for other purposes. Blackwell School National Historic Site Act.
  • H.R. 5001 (Rep. Neguse), To authorize the Secretary of the Interior to continue to implement endangered fish recovery programs for the Upper Colorado and San Juan River Basins, and for other purposes. Upper Colorado and San Juan River Basins Recovery Act.
  • H.R. 5345 (Rep. Blake Moore), To authorize the Director of the United States Geological Survey to establish a regional program to assess, monitor, and benefit the hydrology of saline lakes in the Great Basin and the migratory birds and other wildlife dependent on those habitats, and for other purposes. Saline Lake Ecosystems in the Great Basin States Program Act of 2021.
  • S. 2923 (Sen. Wicker), A bill to improve the Fishery Resource Disaster Relief program of the National Marine Fisheries Service, and for other purposes. Fishery Resource Disasters Improvement Act.
