LEGISLATIVE HEARING ON:

  • H.R. 41 (Issa), To designate certain Federal lands in San Diego County, California, as wilderness, and for other purposes. “Beauty Mountain and Agua Tibia Wilderness Act of 2011”
  • H.R. 113 (Dreier), To provide for additions to the Cucamonga and Sheep Mountain Wilderness Areas in the Angeles and San Bernardino National Forests and the protection of existing property rights in such additions, to require the Secretary of Agriculture to take steps to prevent and prepare for wildfires in the Cucamonga, Sheep Mountain, and San Gabriel Wilderness Areas and address the backlog of maintenance in the Angeles and San Bernardino National Forests, and for other purposes. “Angeles and San Bernardino National Forests Protection Act.”
  • H.R. 490 (Heinrich), To modify the boundaries of Cibola National Forest in the State of New Mexico, to transfer certain Bureau of Land Management land for inclusion in the Manzano Mountain Wilderness, and for other purposes.
  • H.R. 608 (Reichert), To expand the Alpine Lakes Wilderness in the State of Washington, to designate the Middle Fork Snoqualmie River and Pratt River as wild and scenic rivers, and for other purposes. “Alpine Lakes Wilderness Additions and Pratt and Middle Fork Snoqualmie Rivers Protection Act”
  • H.R. 977 (Huizenga), To designate as wilderness certain land and inland water within the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore in the State of Michigan, and for other purposes. “Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore Conservation and Recreation Act”
  • H.R. 1126 (Chaffetz), To direct the Secretary of the Interior to sell certain Federal lands in Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, and Wyoming, previously identified as suitable for disposal, and for other purposes. “Disposal of Excess Federal Lands Act of 2011”
  • H.R. 1413 (DeFazio), To provide for the designation of the Devil's Staircase Wilderness Area in the State of Oregon, to designate segments of Wasson and Franklin Creeks in the State of Oregon as wild or recreation rivers, and for other purposes. “Devil's Staircase Wilderness Act of 2011”
  • H.R. 2050 (Simpson), To authorize the continued use of certain water diversions located on National Forest System land in the Frank Church-River of No Return Wilderness and the Selway-Bitterroot Wilderness in the State of Idaho, and for other purposes. “Idaho Wilderness Water Resources Protection Act”
